Childhood was spent in Holstebro. After high school I moved to Aarhus in 1960 and entered the nursing school at Aarhus University Hospital. I graduated 1964 and became a nurse at the ENT-department, at the operating theatre. I stayed at Aarhus University Hospital untill 2002, where I retired. However, in 1965 I was temporarely working as a nurse at the hospital in Tynset (Norway), and in 1990-1993 I assisted Henning in his private oral surgey practice.
At the hospital in Århus I was almost solely at the ENT-department, and for 10 years I was head nurse at the dept. of maxillo-facial surgery. That's where I in 1977 met Henning, and we were married in 1978.
After marrying we bought a detached house with a lovely garden, and we have lived there ever since. During all these years we have allways had (at least) 2 dogs, always Scottish Terriers. At present we have 2 male dogs, Presto (from Kennel Paisley in Bayern, Germany) and Blak (from Kennel Nicla, Denmark).
